![]() ![]() ![]() TGN is an invaluable resource when it comes to sharing information on money making opportunities. Our intention is not to become an advertising forum; there are many other online resources for that purpose. Please follow these rules to keep your forum clean and organized. [1] When announcing a new program on the forum, please follow the proper format shown at the top of each section or your thread will be deleted. [2] Referral links are ONLY allowed in the first post of any thread, by the person who started the topic. This also applies if the program is announced by the program admin, who cannot post another members referral link in his post. Do not make posts asking the topic creator to add your link to their post or your post will be deleted and you will receive a warning. Everyone else may have their link or banner in their signature only. [3] Do not "post hijack"—commonly done by placing your referral link in threads other than ones you have created. There are no "cashback offers" allowed in the program threads, if you must make an offer it belongs in the benefactor section. You may not create posts specifically for the purpose of asking people to click on your signature, such as "look at my signature" or "join under me." [4] Do not double post (post the same thing in multiple sections). Make sure you search the forum first to make sure you won't be making a duplicate thread. DO NOT open a new topic just because a program started a new "round". Also, don’t open new threads to ask questions about a specific program, all discussion belongs in the original topic. This will help keep the forum much more organized. [5] Do not make posts with lists compiled of different sites in them, those types of threads are very difficult to keep organized. Please post about each program separately as long as they have not been posted previously. [6] Be nice. No personal attacks, name-calling or foul language. If someone posts something you don't like, please don't flame them just because you don't like it or you don't agree with them. Everyone is entitled to state their opinion as long as they are stated in conjunction with TGN rules. [7] Do not be a troll on this board. There is a large difference between stating your opinion and bringing a constant negative attitude to the forums. Do not spread lies and rumors. If you call something a scam, please provide proof. [8] Do not create posts or send a PM to people asking them for money, or asking to be benefactored into a program. Check the benefactor section for offers made by our members. [9] Permitted are up to two 468x60 or smaller banners with a file size of NO MORE than 100kb within your forum signature. Do not use fonts larger than size #4, or all capital letters. Banners and avatars can not have excessive flashing effects, and must be in good taste. They cannot impersonate TGN administrators, moderators, or other TGN members. [10] Do not send spam via PM or on the forum. You will be banned with no exception. [11] Do not bump posts. Bumping a post can be defined as making a post that says BUMP, or something similar, with the intention of raising that post to the top of the topics list. [12] Do not offer to buy or sell any type of scripts on TGN. [13] Do not create multiple TGN accounts. If you are found to own multiple accounts, they will all be banned. [14] Do not participate in any currency exchanges in any section of the forum or via PM. The ONLY way to gain access to the "Currency Exchange" section is becoming a "Supporting Member" with our forum. [15] Do not make 1-3 word posts such as "looking" and "I'm in!"—They are considered spam and unacceptible; they do not contribute to the community at all and are a waste of space. [16] Do not use any form of signature advertising services, and do not allow other people to advertise in your signature. This encourages spam and useless posts, and is not acceptable on TGN. [17] Do not run "forum based" programs on TGN. Your program needs to have it's own website. [18] If you run a monitor site, do not post the payment status of various programs all over the place. Do not post about your monitor service in the program threads, or PM the admin about your monitor. This is considered spam. If you want to have a dedicated thread about your monitor, see our Investment Monitors Forum for more information. ![]() We realize that TGN is an increasingly growing forum with numerous topics. If you are looking for a specific thread, you can click on the “Search” Link at the very top of the forum. The search function allows you to input a number of different variables to help aid you in finding a specific thread. A more detailed tutorial can be found here: http://www.thegreennation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2 TGN is organized to help you sort through different investment opportunities quickly and efficiently. Programs are separated into several different categories based on the characteristics of the program. Our current categories include: HYIPs, Autosurfs, Investment Programs (Non-HYIP), “Referral, MLM & Network marketing,” Money Cyclers, and Other GPT (Get Paid To). If you are looking for a certain type of program, it would be best that you start reading in the category best suited for your needs. Please understand that TGN is not a program monitor and has no way of monitoring which programs are paying and which are not. When making an investment decision, it is your responsibility to research and collect as much information as possible about a program and then make your own decision. If and when a staff member finds a program administrator with multiple usernames, or someone who is hiring paid posters to try and mislead people, they will edit the first post of the thread and insert a red, bold, caution message with a description of what the issue is. What you decide to do with this information is entirely up to you. This information can greatly aid your decision making, so it is important that you check the first post of every thread. In our "HYIP, Autosurf, GPT& Other Investment Program Discussion" section you will find a subforum marked "Closed, Inactive, & Offline Programs." All programs that closed down or ended up being a scam are here. Not everything in this section is a scam. Closed programs are programs whose administrators have officially announced the end to their programs. Inactive programs are programs whose thread on TGN has not had a single post for a period of 3+ weeks. Offline programs are programs whose websites have been down for a minimum of 7 days. If you feel a program is miscategorized, feel free to use the report button, and a staff member will take a look at the thread. TGN like any other online community will have some people, for whatever reason, that break the rules. Our goal is to make TGN as organized and member friendly as possible—but with the ever-growing amount of posts every day, it is difficult for the staff to monitor every single post made. As such, the staff relies on the eyes and ears of the members to help make sure things run smoothly and efficiently. If you ever notice someone violating the rules, we would greatly appreciate if you would take a few extra seconds and report the problem to the staff. This community is what you make out of it. While you aren’t required to help out, TGN will be a better place if you do. You do not need to worry about being a “tattle tale.” A reporters’ confidentiality is always protected so TGN members have no way of knowing who reported them. How to report: [1] Click on the “Report” button at the bottom left hand corner of the offending post. [2] Type up a short description on the problem [3] Click the “Submit Report” button. That’s it! You are done, and the staff will handle it from here. If at any time you are given a warning for violating the rules, don’t make a big deal out of it. Warnings are used as a tool to help members become more aware of our forum rules. Only you and the moderating team can see your warning level, so it is not a “scarlet mark.” If you don’t say anything about it, nobody will know. Your warning level will be reduced over time if you can show us that you understand the rules and do not break them for a 30-60 day period. If this time period has passed, and you feel your warning level should be lowered, you may kindly send a PM to one of our staff members and they will evaluate the possibility of a warning reduction. ![]() ![]() |
